Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM


Job Description

Perform duties as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting located in Round Rock, Texas.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • EPLS check completed prior to assignment start

Health and Safety Requirements

  • Immunizations and Health Screenings:
    • MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted.
    • Varicella: Documented proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider; no declinations accepted.
    • Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination.
    • Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted.
    • Influenza vaccine is optional; if declined during flu season, mask wearing is required.
  • Tuberculosis Screening:
    • 2-step PPD or Negative IGRA within required timeframes.
    • If positive, must provide negative chest X-ray within one year and annual TB questionnaire.
  • Fit Test: Required for all travelers; preferred before start but can be completed onsite.
  • Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
  • Drug Screening:
    • 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
    • Includes testing for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, PCP, methamphetamine, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, buprenorphine, methadone, oxycodone, morphine, and ecstasy.

Competency and Training Requirements

  • Specialty Exam: Must pass Ascension Specialty Exam with minimum 80% or national benchmark prior to first assignment; updated every 3 years.
  • Core Competencies: Must complete training on HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics with minimum 80% passing score; updated every 3 years.
  • Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist to be completed within one year of start and updated annually.
  • Onboarding Education Attestation: Completion of 6 hours Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding with signed attestation required before start.

  • Resume/Profile
  • License/Certificate Verification
  • Driver’s License or State ID (must be current, show front/back, and address must match licensing requirements)
  • Two professional references

Documentation Required for Onboarding (Prior to or at Start)

  • Signed Assignment Agreement (offer letter, initial confirmation, and extensions)
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Specialty Exam and Core Competencies completion
  • Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation
  • Immunization and health documentation (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Fit Test, TB screening, Health Statement)
  • Criminal Background Check and EPLS results
  • Skills Checklist
  • Drug Screen
  • Education and Employment Verification
  • Confirmation of Assignment on agency letterhead

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
