Job Opportunity: CT Technologist
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM (overnight)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule Requirements:
- Every weekend required
- Holiday shifts required if holidays fall on normal shift days
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Valid Driver’s License
Health and Safety Requirements
- Documentation of immunizations and health screenings:
- MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive immunity titer (no declinations accepted)
- Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Tdap: Valid within last 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Influenza vaccine is optional but if declined, mask wearing is required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
- Tuberculosis screening:
- 2-step PPD or Negative IGRA within 90 days of start
- If positive, must provide negative chest X-ray within 1 year and annual TB questionnaire
- Fit Test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be done onsite)
- Annual health statement or physical exam confirming good health
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics with minimum 80% passing score (updated every 3 years)
- Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others within 90 days of start; updated annually or after break in service > 90 days
- Drug screening: 12-panel urine drug screen within 30 days prior to start; updated annually or after break in service > 90 days
- Employment verification for past 7 years prior to start; updated annually or after break in service > 90 days
- Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start; must be rerun after break in service > 90 days
- Skills checklist for CT Technologist specialty completed within one year of start and updated annually
- Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment on agency letterhead with accurate start/end dates
- Professional photo for badge (forward-facing, white or blue background, no filters)
Additional Notes
- Medical imaging contract worker onboarding education attestation (6 hours pre-hire) required and must be uploaded with traveler’s signature and date
- Medical imaging contract worker form completed onsite
- Must comply with holiday and weekend shift requirements as specified
