Overview

Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
Schedule: Every other weekend; every other holiday

Role details

Traveler may be placed on the unit with the greatest need, either PCU or Med/Surg/Tele.
May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Med Surg experience
Telemetry experience
Experience with Epic
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIH Certification
Driver's License
RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills must be completed
Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
Ascension Specialty Exam completed prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years
Ascension Core Competencies completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years
Ascension EKG Exam completed with a passing score of at least 80% and updated every 3 years
