Role Summary

• Assists with procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.
• Prepares and positions patients, selects anatomic and technical parameters, administers contrast media and medications within scope of practice, observes patients during procedures, follows radiation safety procedures, and assists with specialized imaging procedures including angio and complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Oklahoma.
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
• Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
• ARRT (Radiography).
• Cardiographic Tech.
• Driver's License.
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
• Ascension Specialty Exam completed prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score; only 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Core Competencies completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score; only 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation.
• Ascension Badge Photo.
• MMR documentation showing two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted.
• Fit Test required for all travelers.
• Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed and dated declination.
• Influenza Vaccine; exemptions/declinations accepted, with masking required at all times.
• Health Statement or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
• Driver's License/State ID must be current and match address on file.
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot).
• Varicella documentation showing two vaccines, immunity, or provider verification of history; no declinations accepted.
• Tdap valid for 10 years from administered date; no declinations or attestations accepted.
• Ascension Profile.
• Ascension 2 Professional References.
• Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually for specialty.
• Ascension Education Verification completed within 90 days of start.
• Ascension Confirmation of Assignment.
• Ascension Employment Verification for the past seven years.
• Ascension 11 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start of first assignment and updated annually.

Preferred

• BLS.
• ACLS.
• License/Certificate Verification.
• NIH Certification.
• Positive PPD- Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire.
• Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding.
