Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

Role Overview

Provides nursing care for labor and delivery patients
Performs comprehensive assessments across pediatric to geriatric populations
Documents nursing care, patient progress, and patient education
Follows patient safety protocols, including universal protocol and two patient identifiers
Supports patient education and pre-/post-operative assessment
Assists with patient testing and reviews pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness and completeness
