Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT)
• Patient Population: Adult patients
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Schedule: Flexibility to work up to every other weekend and holiday rotation
• On Call: 2 twelve-hour on-call shifts in a 6-week schedule (2-hour response time)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (hours not guaranteed during orientation or unit closure)

Contract Length

• 8 weeks (interpreted as 8 weeks based on contract_length value)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of RRT experience with adult patients
• Required skillset includes Emergency, Trauma, and Critical Care
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred (indicates prior travel experience is required)

Certifications Required

• National & North Carolina RRT certification
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Advanced NRP

Additional Requirements

• Charting experience with Epic strongly preferred
• Must be resilient, adaptable to change, and socially engaging
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless medically or religiously exempt

Dress Code

• Scrub colors: Red, Black, Gray (solid colors only)
• No designs unless working in Pediatric areas
• T-shirts worn under scrub tops must be solid red, black, gray, or white
• No hoodies or fleece jackets; scrub jackets allowed

This position is ideal for experienced respiratory therapists comfortable with night shifts, critical care environments, and flexible scheduling, who also have prior travel experience.
