Registered Nurse – ICU

Location: Stevens Point, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day/night variable shifts (example shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: Guaranteed 36 hours

Job Description

Work primarily in a 32-bed unit on the 2nd floor with 3 levels of care: ICU, Stepdown, and Med-Surg
Weekend and holiday rotation: every other weekend and holiday coverage required
Potential float assignments to Med-Surg unit and other regional locations within Wisconsin (Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, Divine Savior)
May be placed on call during low census periods; call-back minimum of 2 hours with call-back pay

Required Qualifications

Current Wisconsin or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted)
ADN or BSN degree
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; Med-Surg experience preferred
Prior travel nursing experience is required
Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

Radius rule: must live within 50 miles of the facility
Scrub colors: any professional-colored scrubs allowed
Must be adaptable, resilient, and able to manage change well
Social and team-oriented candidates preferred
Flu and COVID vaccination required during flu season; unvaccinated travelers must wear a mask at all times per facility policy, with no exceptions
Orientation week is not eligible for GSA
Contract includes eligibility for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours, which can include on-call hours if called back to the facility
