Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CCU (Travel)

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Critical Care Unit (CCU)
• Shift: 12-hour variable shifts
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Float: May float to similar units within skillset and to other nearby locations within a 40-mile radius (pre-scheduled if needed)
• On Call/Call Back: Possible low census on-call with a minimum 2-hour call back

Requirements

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Wisconsin RN license
  • AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years ICU experience (higher years of experience requirement)
  • Prior critical access/rural experience highly preferred
  • Occasional pediatric surgical patients (ENT or ortho cases) may be encountered

• Charting:

  • EPIC charting system used; no prior charting experience required

Unit Information

• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Scrub color: Any

Additional Information

• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask at all times (mandatory compliance)
• Contract includes eligibility for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• GSA (General Schedule Area) not applicable during orientation week
