Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Hopkinsville, Kentucky
• 13-week contract
• Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• No local candidates within 40 miles

Schedule and unit details

• Primary location: Hopkinsville, KY
• Float requirement: none
• On-call/call-back: 1 12-hour call shift every other week
• Weekend/holiday requirement: every 3rd or 4th weekend; 1 Fall/Winter holiday
• Fast-paced Emergency Department caring for approximately 90 patients per day
• Travelers work as part of the core ED team and are expected to function independently after orientation
• Assignments and patient placement may change during the shift based on volume, acuity, and department needs

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS

Preferred

• TNCC
• Epic experience

• COVID-19 vaccine not required, subject to change
• Facility can cancel up to 36 hours within a 13-week period
