Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Radiology Technologist

Location: Chillicothe, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional patient care using radiologic skills and procedures in the Cath Lab.
Serve as a primary caregiver, delivering direct patient care and collaborating with physicians, patients, families, and team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
Perform duties including scrubbing and monitoring/documenting multiple modalities within the Cath Lab.
Assist in heart catheterization procedures, emergent cath procedures (Impella, IABP), Peripheral lab, and EP lab.
Work schedule: 4 days of 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
On-call requirement: 45-minute response time, one weekend per month, and two nights per week.
40 hours guaranteed.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab.
Ohio State Licensure.
ARRT certification.
BLS and ACLS certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of prior travel experience preferred (not required).

Additional Information

Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility.

I was given significantly higher acuity assignments which I managed to do but every shift I was given the sickest patients because they could trust me... great but I always had a heavy assignment while others slept... also it was like fighting tooth and nails with certain docs with a god complex.
