Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Nights

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Perform patient assessments and diagnostic tests such as blood gas analysis and lung capacity measurements.
  • Administer treatments including aerosol therapy, ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Respond to respiratory emergencies including Code Blues, airway management, and assist with intubation.
  • Setup, check, and maintain respiratory equipment like ventilators, masks, and oxygen machines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and adjust patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on managing respiratory conditions (e.g., asthma, COPD) and use of home medical equipment.
  • Accurately document patient data and treatment outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
  • Specialty: Cardiopulmonary.
