Job Opportunity: Labor & Delivery RN (Day Shift)

Location: Newport, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to work day shifts, including care in Post-Partum and Baby Unit. The role requires flexibility to float to other units and assist with overflow from the Progressive Care Unit.

Work Environment

Small, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital setting
Located in a rural area known for outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
Limited public transportation; personal transportation strongly recommended
Support provided for transition into the community and workplace

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Vermont
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
At least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Experience in Post Partum and Nursery care
Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP
