Registered Nurse (Radiology) - Texas, Houston

Job Summary

Seeking a Radiology RN with critical care experience (ICU or ER) for an interventional radiology/procedural setting. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment similar to a Cath Lab, managing outpatient schedules, and admitting patients as needed. Flexibility and the ability to take call are required.

8 weeks

Required Qualifications

Current RN license
ACLS certified
BLS (AHA) certified
NIHSS certification
Radiology nursing experience, preferably in interventional radiology/procedural areas
If no radiology nursing experience, ICU or ER experience is required
Experience with CT scans, interventional medicine, moderate sedation, PICC line care, and anesthesia care
Ability to take call (typically one day per month, sometimes two)

Work Schedule

Variable 4x10 hour shifts (examples: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM)
7-day call coverage per rotation
Manager is flexible with scheduling

The position requires flexibility due to potentially busy periods
