Registered Nurse (Radiology) - Texas, Houston

Job Summary

Seeking a Radiology RN with critical care experience (ICU or ER) for an interventional radiology/procedural setting. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment similar to a Cath Lab, managing outpatient schedules, and admitting patients as needed. Flexibility and the ability to take call are required.

Contract Length

  • 8 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Current RN license
  • ACLS certified
  • BLS (AHA) certified
  • NIHSS certification
  • Radiology nursing experience, preferably in interventional radiology/procedural areas
  • If no radiology nursing experience, ICU or ER experience is required
  • Experience with CT scans, interventional medicine, moderate sedation, PICC line care, and anesthesia care
  • Ability to take call (typically one day per month, sometimes two)

Work Schedule

  • Variable 4x10 hour shifts (examples: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM)
  • 7-day call coverage per rotation
  • Manager is flexible with scheduling
