Registered Nurse - MedSurg Ortho

Location: Hutchinson, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

A hospital in central Kansas is seeking Med/Surg Registered Nurses to start as soon as possible. The unit is a 23-bed Med/Surg and Orthopedic surgical unit with typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6, occasionally 1:7. Nurses may also float to the Med-COVID unit with ratios ranging from 1:3 to 1:4.

Shift Details

• 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm)
• Every other weekend or every third weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas
• Med Surg nursing experience of at least 1 year within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

Specialty Experience

• MedSurg Ortho nursing experience required (minimum 1 year recommended based on specialty expectations)
