Unit and Work Environment

Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
Floor: 3400 Med-Surg
Number of Beds: 18
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Meditech
Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Rotating weekends
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Yes

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
Minimum 5 years of Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
