Speech-Language Pathologist Travel Assignment

Job Overview

• Location: Vidalia, Georgia
• Setting: Hospital-based speech therapy
• Employment type: Travel
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Hours per week: 36
• Patient volume: About 4 patients per day
• Patient mix: Outpatient, inpatient, and outpatient modified barium swallow studies
• Floating: May float between outpatient and inpatient as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Georgia
• Speech Language Pathologist (2 years of experience)
• Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
• ASHA Certification
• BLS

Clinical Responsibilities

• Swallowing, voice, and language assessments
• Modified barium swallow studies

Work Environment

• Documentation system: Meditech
• Equipment includes X-ray for modified barium swallows
• Required attire: Scrubs
