• Outdoor recreation nearby; close to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Grand Canyon, and Southern California

Position Details

• Role: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) / Operating Room First Assist
• Employment Type: Travel contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Coverage: Managed by a call team including RN, CSTFA, and CST
• Call Requirements: Approximately 3 days per month (varies by staff count)
• Float Requirement: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius

Patient Population & Case Mix

• Surgical cases range from 10 to 25 per day
• Procedures include total joints (MAKO robotics knees & hips), spine, orthopedic, neurosurgery, craniotomies, robotics, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, general surgery, and plastics
• Use of XI DaVinci surgical robot

Required Qualifications

• Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Certification: OR First Assist
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR First Assist experience, including experience within the last year
• Surgical First Assistant experience
• Open heart surgery experience
