Overview

  • Travel RN position in Denver, Colorado
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Delivery experience
  • NICU/PICU experience
  • PALS

Unit Details

  • 17-bed NICU
  • Patient ratio: 1:1 to 3:1
  • Night shift staffing includes 2 CNCs, 6 RNs, and 1 PRN RN
  • Common procedures include UAC and UVC insertion and intubation

Work Environment

  • Small, family-like unit with close collaboration among neonatologists, nurse practitioners, and the multidisciplinary team
  • Strong critical thinking, autonomy, and patient advocacy are valued
