Overview
- Travel RN position in Denver, Colorado
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Delivery experience
- NICU/PICU experience
- PALS
Unit Details
- 17-bed NICU
- Patient ratio: 1:1 to 3:1
- Night shift staffing includes 2 CNCs, 6 RNs, and 1 PRN RN
- Common procedures include UAC and UVC insertion and intubation
Work Environment
- Small, family-like unit with close collaboration among neonatologists, nurse practitioners, and the multidisciplinary team
- Strong critical thinking, autonomy, and patient advocacy are valued
