Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Long Term Acute Care (2 years of experience)
- Long Term Acute Care experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing setting
- 2 years of recent skilled RN experience
- Ventilator and tracheostomy experience
- Central line knowledge
Preferred Experience
- Wound care experience
Schedule
- Rotating weekly schedule with shifts across Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, then Wednesday and Thursday the following week
- One weekend of on-call per month
Role Summary
- Provides care for LTAC/Telemetry patients using the nursing process
- Responsible for shift accountability, care planning, supervision, and delegation of patient care tasks
