Overview
- Travel RN role in San Antonio, Texas.
- Unit: Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT).
- Classification: RN – Oncology.
- Assignment length: 13 weeks.
- Shift: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
- Floating is required; floating is as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- Bone Marrow Transplant (2 years of experience).
- Bone Marrow Transplant experience within the last year.
- BLS.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience with mediports/PICCs/central lines.
- Oncology experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemotherapy certification.
Unit Details
- Documentation system: Meditech.
- Procedures include chemotherapy administration, CHG baths including central lines and dressings, and central line/mediport access with lab draws.
