<h2>Job Description</h2>
<p>The Cardiac Sonographer II performs moderate-complexity echocardiographic exams independently and is expected to recognize abnormal findings and exercise sound clinical judgment in an outpatient setting.</p>

<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
  <li>Conduct up to 7 full echocardiograms and 1 limited echocardiogram per day.</li>
  <li>Complete prereads on all studies performed.</li>
  <li>Start IVs and administer Definity contrast.</li>
  <li>Adhere to established protocols, documentation standards, and quality expectations.</li>

<h2>Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure</h2>
<ul>
  <li>Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent experience.</li>
  <li>ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac sonography (required).</li>
  <li>BLS certification (required).</li>
  <li>A minimum of 5 years of cardiac ultrasound experience.</li>
  <li>Experience performing transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.</li>
  <li>Familiarity with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems and Epic EMR preferred.</li>
