Required Certifications & Experience

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Minimum 2+ years of experience in level 3 or 4 NICU
Experience caring for level 3 NICU infants including:
- High Frequency vents, conventional vents, CPAP, NIMV, HFNC
- Nitric oxide therapy
- Whole body cooling
- OG/NG/PO feedings
- UAC, UVC, PICC, PIV lines
- Attending high-risk deliveries and all cesarean section deliveries

Patient Ratios: Vary by acuity; typically 3 feeders, 2 CPAP, 1 nitric, 1 cooling
