MRI Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a busy imaging unit. The position involves performing MRI procedures including contrast and non-contrast studies, with a preference for candidates who have breast MRI experience. The unit uses GE equipment and Cerner EMR.

Unit Information

Staff on unit: Approximately 9
Typical shift staffing example: 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters (day shift)
Equipment: GE MRI machines
EMR system: Cerner
Dress code: Black scrubs
Weekend and on-call requirements: Rotating weekends

Required Qualifications

Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
ARRT (MR) Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in Radiology
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
