Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 100
• Staff: 2 Occupational Therapists, 3 outpatient COTAs, 2 inpatient COTAs
• Shift: Day shift only
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 7-10 patients per therapist
• Equipment: Standard inpatient and outpatient equipment including estim, ultrasound, infrared
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Call Requirements: None

Typical Procedures

• Outpatient evaluations
• Progress reports
• Discharge notes
• Focus areas: Upper extremity orthopedics and neurology
• Inpatient evaluations preferred
• Main expertise needed: Ability to type reports so onsite OTs can focus on patient care

Dress Code

• Scrubs color: Light gray

Work Environment

• Friendly team-oriented atmosphere
• Ideal candidate can work both outpatient and inpatient adult populations, Tuesday through Saturday

Required Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• Current Occupational Therapist license in Florida
• BLS certification
• OTR certification
