Job Summary

Seeking a Special Procedures Tech with advanced skills in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (IR) procedures. This role supports the Cath Lab and IR unit, working with specialized equipment and documentation systems.

Unit Information

Unit: Cath Lab and IR
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Staffing: 2 RNs, 2 techs
Equipment: INNOVA, Assist, MacLab
Documentation Systems: Meditech, MacLab
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Shift Details: No nights, no weekends, no on-call requirements
Dress Code: Hospital-issued scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
ACLS certification
ARRT certification
BLS certification
Understanding of USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk
