• Weekend Hours: 23
• Call Requirements: No
• Float Requirements: No
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Load: Currently max 18 patients, aiming for 24
• Patient Ratios: 6:1
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatric (No pediatrics)
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Pneumonia, CVA, CP, post-surgical care, electrolyte imbalances, DVT, etc.
• Equipment Used: Bladder scanner, glucometers, etc.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Medhost

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to start
• Registered Nurse license valid in Tennessee
• Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start

• Critical care thinking skills

Notes

• Orientation is bi-weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
