Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (Travel)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: ICU
Number of Beds: 24
Number of Staff: 46
Patient Ratios:
- 1:2 typical
- 1:3 for PCU boarders
- 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity (IABP, CRRT, open hearts)
Staffing: 1 CCT/US during day shift if > 10 patients
Documentation System: EPIC
Scheduling: Straight nights or 50/50 shifts
Floating Policy: PCU or sitter anywhere in hospital inpatient

Required Experience & Certifications

Years of ICU experience: Minimum 2 years (1 year strong experience may be considered)
Certifications:
- ACLS (required)
- BLS
- NIH Certification
Licenses: Registered Nurse License

Typical Procedures Performed

Rapid Sequence Intubations
Central line placements
Bronchoscopy
Intubation
Arterial line placement
Chest tube placement
Experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, arterial lines, and other ICU skills

Work Environment & Culture

Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
Weekend Shifts: 3 weekend shifts within a 4-week period
