Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Seeking a Registered and competent Radiology Technologist with the ability to work independently. The candidate must be able to cover inpatient (IP), emergency room (ER), outpatient (OP), and interventional radiology (IR) procedure exams. Cardiac experience is a plus.
Unit Information
- Facility has 199 beds, including a 22-bed ER and 32-bed Critical Care Unit
- Equipment includes GE 64 and 512 Slice CT Scanners
- Documentation systems: Meditech, Change HealthCare PACS
- No floating policy
- Dress code: Scrubs (any color)
Procedures Performed
- All CT exams, including CTA hearts and Calcium Scoring
Required Qualifications
- Certifications:
- ARRT (R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT (CT) - Computed Tomography certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- New Mexico State License in Radiography and CT
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in CT specialty
- Must have flexibility, teamwork skills, positive attitude, compassion, and empathy
Additional Requirements
- All clinical staff must be fingerprinted before hire per New Mexico state requirements
- Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while fingerprint results are pending but must be supervised during this time
