Job Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Springfield, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Number of Beds: 109
• Equipment: Philips cath lab, Merge hemo, Meditech EMR
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs (not provided)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Skills and Experience

• Cath lab experience required
• Advanced critical thinking skills
• Procedures performed on unit include:

  • Left and Right Heart Catheterization (LHC, RHC)
  • Stent placement
  • Peripheral angiography
  • Linq implant and explant
  • Generator changes
  • Pacemaker implants
