Job Opportunity: Travel Pathology Assistant

Position Details

Specialty: Pathology Assistant
Location: Naples, Florida
Facility: Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge (Community Health Systems)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Requirements

Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Health Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related science.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Completion of a NAACLS accredited Pathologist Assistant education program.
- Current certification as a Pathologist Assistant (PA) (ASCP).
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- At least 1 year of experience as a surgical pathology technician, including gross examination of tissue.

Additional Information

Expectation to float between campuses if needed.
AHCA required for all CHS Florida placements.
Review housing costs prior to submission.

Considerations

Willingness to review clinicians with pending state licenses.
Previous candidates who may be considered for rehire.
