Travel RN

Location

  • Columbia, South Carolina

Job Type

  • Temporary contract
  • Hospice patient care setting

Schedule

  • 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  • Day shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • On-call/weekend coverage as needed

Work Scope

  • RN case management for assigned patients
  • Visits patients twice per week
  • Bedside documentation
  • Attendance at agency and patient-care meetings
  • Preparation and presentation for IDG
  • Communication with patients, families, staff, physicians, and nurse practitioners
  • Must be responsive to schedule changes based on staffing and patient needs

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Hospice Palliative Care RN experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Hospice Palliative Care RN experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • HCHB experience

Other Details

  • Mileage reimbursement between visits
  • Coverage area: 55 miles from the office location, primarily Richland and Lexington Counties
  • Productivity expectation: 26 points
  • Scrubs preferred, with dark/navy blue preferred
