Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry / Medical-Surgical / Progressive Care Unit

Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Overview

This assignment requires a Registered Nurse comfortable working across three specialties: Medical-Surgical (MS), Telemetry (Tele), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The nurse must be able to work independently in a small, rural facility setting and be prepared to start on a firm date of June 1.


Patient Population

  • Newborn to Geriatric
  • RN to patient ratio typically 5:1, with higher acuity PCU patients at 3:1 or 4:1
  • Both day and night shifts available

Required Qualifications

  • License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license valid in New Hampshire (must be uploaded with profile)
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years combined experience in PCU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry nursing
  • Skills:
    • Medical-Surgical nursing experience with cardiac monitoring
    • Telemetry experience with basic dysrhythmia testing skills
    • Progressive Care Unit experience
  • Certifications:
    • Current American Heart Association BLS
    • Current American Heart Association ACLS
  • References: One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
  • Must have own vehicle for assignment
  • Must be comfortable working in a rural/small facility environment (preferred)
  • Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not required

Additional Requirements & Notes

  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
  • Must be able to work all three specialties and be flexible with scheduling; block scheduling is not available
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no RTO requests will be approved after offer
  • No non-billable orientation or holiday multipliers apply
  • Travel pairs may be considered if able to work separate shifts as needed
  • Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable as dress code

  • This is a small, rural hospital setting requiring nurses who can "hit the ground running" and work independently
  • Scheduling accommodations or requests after submission may lead to offer rescindment
  • Must include permanent address in profile upon submission
