Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
• Facility is a Joint Commission accredited community hospital with 24-hour emergency and hospitalist coverage.
• Services include inpatient medical care, general surgery, orthopedics, maternity, ambulatory surgical services (general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, gastroenterology), outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic services, wound care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, physical and occupational therapy, and primary care clinics.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Operating Room nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be uploaded with profile).
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.
• Skills checklist for Operating Room relevant to the position (current within 1 year).
• Must have own vehicle for assignment.
• Permanent address must be included with profile.

Additional Information

• Requests for time off during the assignment must be submitted and verified at the time of application; no more than 3 days of time off will be accepted.
• Orientation is 8 hours, non-billable.
• Holiday and overtime pay multipliers apply.
• Scheduling requests made after submission or offer will not be approved and may result in rescinded offers.

• Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License is required for staffing temporary nursing needs in the state (ensure compliance as per state regulations).
