Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Location: Longview, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements)
• Shift: 4x10-hour shifts or 3x12-hour shifts, nights available (Monday-Wednesday)
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• First Time Travelers: Not accepted
• Locals: Not accepted
• Call: None
• Scrubs: Any color allowed

Required Credentials & Licenses

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (MR)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• State License: Must hold a valid Washington state radiology license
• Preferred: Epic EMR experience

Background Checks & Compliance

• Background check required within 60 days of start (7-year search including SSN trace, counties/states lived/worked, federal and national criminal checks)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks must be run 15 days prior to start and every 45 days after
• Social Security verification required (candidates may start pending this if I-9 and eVerify are on file)
• Washington State Patrol check must be run within 90 days prior to start for WA placements

Certifications (Additional)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required for ICU, ER, PCU, Cath Lab, PACU, Tele, Respiratory Therapists
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required for PICU, ER, PACU
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) required for NICU, Nursery, Antepartum, Postpartum, Labor & Delivery
• CHEMO certification required for Oncology
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required for ER; preferred for ICU
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) required for L&D, Mother-Baby/Postpartum, Nursery
• NIH Stroke Certification required for ED, Cath Lab, ICU, CV Surgery (not CVOR), MS/Tele, Neurology, and Techs (Cath Lab and Imaging)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required for non-clinical candidates)
• Fit mask test within 1 year, updated annually (required for onsite candidates)
• Full Tdap vaccine or declination required
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual TB questionnaire if positive TB history)
• Immunity or vaccination/declination documentation required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccination series, or declination)
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
• Drug testing required within 30 days of start (specific panels required)
• Seasonal flu vaccine or approved declination required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31)
• Respirator safety clearance required for onsite candidates, updated annually

Orientation & Facility Requirements

• Must complete PeaceHealth orientation manual and pass orientation quiz with 100% score prior to start
• Must complete facility-specific orientation modules based on profession (RN, LPN, Nurse Tech, Allied Health, CNA, Surgical Tech, ED Tech, Non-Clinical, Home and Community Caregivers)
• Must complete and submit various facility-specific forms including:

  • Criminal disclosure statement
  • Demographic form
  • ID badge and parking form
  • Confirmation of standards checklist
  • Dress code policy review
  • Personnel restrictions due to illness policy
  • Masking policy (N95 fit testing onsite; facial hair must be clean-shaven when using N95)
• Passport-style photo required for badge (white or gray background)
• Must complete PeaceHealth daily responsibilities and MyTime resources review prior to start

References & Employment History

• Two references from Charge RN or higher within the last 3 years, covering at least 1 year in specialty
• Verification of last 7 years of employment with proof of 1 year in specialty
