Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology)

Job Description

• Perform CT scans in Emergency Room (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings, including Level 1 Trauma cases
• Work with all patient populations: Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatric
• Must be able to start IVs
• Use equipment including GE, Canon, Bayer Injector, and CT Motion Injector
• Evening shifts: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (8.5-hour shifts)
• Orientation: 2 days required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience as a CT Technologist
• California license required
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT advanced, CRT certifications, Fluoroscopy permit
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with GE and Toshiba CT scanners
• Preferred experience: GSI, EKGs, PACS
• Flu vaccine required at time of submission (no exemptions or declinations accepted)

Compliance & Documentation

• Clinicians must complete all required lab work (fit test, physical, MMR, etc.) within 7 days of approval to avoid cancellation
• Must comply with background checks and standard credentialing requirements
• Required certifications include:

  • ACLS (for applicable roles)
  • BLS (required for all clinical positions)
  • PALS (for RRTs and ER units)
  • Fire Card (must be obtained within LA County, 30-day grace period allowed)
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification for ER roles
  • NIH Stroke Certification (for ICU and ER RNs)
• Required competencies include medication/pharmacology exam and EKG competency exam (where applicable)
• Harassment Prevention Training certificate required and must be on file
• Drug testing panel required within 1 year of start (excluding Marijuana/THC)
• Physical exam and fit mask test must be current (within 1 year)
• Immunization and titers required for: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year required
• Flu seasonal vaccination/documentation required annually (no exemptions)

• References: 2 professional references required, including 1 supervisory; clinical references must be verified within 1 year

This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with strong trauma and critical care experience, who are comfortable working in a fast-paced ER and ICU environment and meet all licensing and certification requirements.
