Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to choose 13 or 26 weeks)
Job Description
- Work primarily in Electrophysiology (EP) with some Cath Lab duties.
- Facility willing to train strong Cath Lab Techs in EP.
- Shift: 4x10 hour days.
- On-call required: 3 nights per week (no weekends), 2 hours per night.
- No mandatory weekends unless picking up Cath Lab call shift.
- Floating within scope to Cath Lab may be required.
- Locals not accepted (must live at least 50 miles from facility).
- Time off: One approved time off request per 13-week assignment.
- Guaranteed 70 hours per 2 weeks; may be called off for one 10-hour shift per 2 weeks.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years.
- First-time travelers accepted.
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- ARRT (R) or RCES

Schedule & Work Conditions
- Shift: 4 days of 10 hours each

Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start (signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO).
- Fit Mask testing required (annual update).
- Immunizations/Vaccinations:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 12 months (annual update required)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination (Alaska placements require positive titer and vaccine series)
- Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine (required during flu season or declination accepted)
- COVID-19 Vaccine or declination (required if onsite)
- Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests, THC excluded)
- Respiratory Safety Clearance (annual medical clearance for respirator use)
Background & Employment History
- Background Check within 45 days of start, covering last 7 years of residence/employment.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM checks within 30 days of start, updated monthly.
- Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years.
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors).
- Education Verification required (nursing degree for RNs/LVNs; related degree or high school for Allied/CNA).
- Skills Checklist updated annually (applicable units).
Training & Competency Requirements
- Must complete Providence WorkRamp modules as assigned (Core, Specialty, Regional, and Annual Regulatory modules).
- Epic charting system training modules required prior to or shortly after start.
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exams as applicable.
- Color Blind Testing if required by unit.

- Scrubs and parking provided free of charge.
- Floating policy acknowledgment required; may float to other Providence facilities nearby.
- Locals not accepted; candidate must reside at least 50 miles from facility.
- Time off requests limited to one per 13-week assignment.
- On-call shifts are 3 nights per week, 2 hours each night, no weekends.
