Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Cartersville, Georgia Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 12 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:00) Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Schedule and Assignment Details

Weekend: every other weekend
Schedule must be flexible to facility scheduling. No schedule or block schedule requests can be requested, approved, or accommodated.
Call: None
Floating: Within facility and scope of practice, which may include floating to a CNA/Tech role, as needed
Unit accepts first-time travelers
Holidays: Travelers must work major holidays as follows:
- One holiday in the assignment: work it
- Two holidays: work both
- Three holidays: work two
- Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
RTO: Maximum 7 days
Non-billable orientation hours equal the contract length (12 hours for a 12-week assignment)
Local candidates are accepted.
Offer process: After the candidate signs and confirmation is sent, the manager has 48 hours to review the profile. The offer is only available if the candidate passes the clinical review within RTO guidelines and meets facility requirements.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Med Surg experience: 2 years of experience
Med Surg experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
