Overview

Travel/Contract role in Saint Louis, Missouri
Pediatric ICU (PICU)
3x12 rotating shifts: day 7:00–19:30 and night 19:00–7:30
1:2 patient ratio
36 hours per week
40 staffed beds on the unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1.5 years of experience)
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Level I Trauma
Experience with post-operative care
Experience with respiratory failure management
Experience with liver transplant patients
Experience with sepsis management
Experience with post-BMT (bone marrow transplant) patients
Experience with bedside procedures

Preferred

Level I Trauma experience
Post op experience
Respiratory failure experience
Liver transplants experience
Sepsis experience
Post BMT experience

Float Scope

May float to NICU, CVICU, Stepdown, and PICU overflow floor with low-acuity MS patients
May also float as an RN Assist for 1:1 observation for safety and behavioral health purposes

Will work with COVID patients
No burns except stabilization

Bedside surgeries/procedures expected
