ICU Travel Nurse

- 36 hours per week
- 14-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Corrections setting
Compliance and Onboarding
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security card or SSN
- Proof of E-Verify or attestation
- 2 clinical references
- Background check covering the past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Physical exam
- Fit test with approved mask
- Tdap vaccination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- 9-panel drug screen including marijuana
- COVID-19 vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions may be considered
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
- Photo for badge
- State license verification
- NURSYS verification
- Pass/fail testing and competency exams required before start
- Orientation and facility paperwork must be completed before start
Scheduling Notes
- Holiday rotation is required
- For September start dates, time off requests are not approved for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day
- Nurses are expected to work 3 of 6 designated holidays based on holiday group assignment
