Respiratory Therapist

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Tucson, Arizona
13-week assignment
Night shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Arizona
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
Experience in a Critical Care setting
Emergency Department experience
Adult ICU experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

PALS certification

Work Setting and Duties

Areas include floors, ED, ICU, pediatrics, pediatric ED, and PACU
Duties include patient transport
Call and float required

MDI
Nebulizers
ABGs
Bedside PFTs
NIF
VC
Trach care
Oxygen therapy
CPT with flutter manual or vest
CPAP
BiPAP
HHFNC

Compliance / Onboarding Notes

No first-time travelers

Do not submit to multiple positions
EPIC required
1 day of didactics and 2 days of orientation in covered areas
