Role Overview

• Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position in Matthews, North Carolina.
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week may be offered.
• Unit accepts 16+ week contracts.

Unit Details

• 4th Floor medical surgical unit with an emphasis in Bariatrics and Orthopedics.
• 40 beds.
• Target ratio: 1:5-7.
• Float requirement: Yes.
• Weekend requirement: 2-3 weekends in 6 weeks.
• Patient population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• IV Start
• Telemetry
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS.

Schedule and Assignment Notes

• RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
• Additional call-offs or RTO on unit could result in cancellation and DNR.
• Travelers must be available all week during week one for hospital orientation.
• Unit orientation is 36 hours.
