Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Day shift: 7:00–15:30
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Adult OR experience is okay
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Trauma experience in a Level I trauma center
- Experience with ECMO
- Experience with general surgery cases
- Experience with urology cases
- Experience with endoscopic/laparoscopic cases
- Experience with plastic surgery cases
- Experience with ENT cases
- Neurosurgery experience
Preferred
- Scrub experience
- Level I trauma experience
- Trauma experience preferably in a Level I trauma center
Unit Information
- Level I trauma center
- Specialties include ENT, Urology, Plastics, General Surgery, Orthopedic, Trauma, and Neurosurgery
- Surgical procedures range from minor procedures to very complex procedures including ECMO, burn procedures, tumor resections, and trauma procedures
- Patient population includes neonates, infants, toddlers, children, adolescents, and some adults
- Equipment includes Stealth, DaVinci, and ROSA
