• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend and every other holiday
• Floating: within Respiratory Therapy scope
• First-time travelers accepted if they have 3+ years of experience
• Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New York
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

• RTO restriction: 7 days max; if consecutive, add 1 week to make up RTO
• Background check within 1 year of start covering all locations lived/worked/in school for the past 7 years, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM clearance prior to facility start
• HHS/OIG clearance prior to facility start
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Annual stroke education
• Annual NIH Stroke Scale training
• Annual tuberculosis screening questionnaire
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit test within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Tdap within the last 10 years or declination
• TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year of start
• Measles and rubella immunity documentation
• Mumps immunity status required to be known
• Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
• Varicella documentation
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
• COVID vaccine records or declination
• 2 professional references within 3 years of hire
