Schedule

• Shift rotation is required.
• Call is required: 2–4 weeknights and 1–2 weekends per 4-week schedule.

Required Qualifications

• CVOR Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
• Prior travel experience required
• Must be able to cardiac scrub
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
• PALS certification, as applicable
• NRP certification, as applicable
• State license verification
• Background check
• E-Verify or attestation
• EPLS/GSA/SAM clearance
• HHS/OIG clearance
• 2 recent verified professional references from managers or supervisors
• Employment application

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit test within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
• Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation during flu season
• Confidentiality agreement
• Code of conduct attestation
• Conflict of interest disclosure form
• Sexual harassment and misconduct policy attestation
• Cornerstone module attestation
• Traveler unit orientation paperwork
• ID proofing completion
• TB questionnaire if there is a history of past positive TB test

Unit Focus

• Adult cardiac surgery, vascular, and thoracic patients
• High-acuity cases including cardiac assist devices, transplant, ECMO, and complex vascular and thoracic procedures
