Pediatric PACU RN

Job Overview

Location: Jacksonville, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule notes: On-call required; weekends and holidays required; no block scheduling
Floating: May float to like acuities or lower if needed
Local candidate restriction: No locals within a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience within the last year
1 year of Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience
Experience working with Pediatric patients
OR - Operating Room experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Work Setting

PACU role in a 1:1 patient-to-nurse environment
Post-surgical recovery care with monitoring of airways, pain, vital signs, and other post-operative needs

Additional Notes

RTO must be included with submission to be honored at offer
Candidates will be reviewed/interviewed by the manager
