Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel/Contract)

Location: Bolivar, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each, alternating between day (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) and night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) shifts
• No block scheduling allowed
• Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Current certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Compliance and Background Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Federal and state-level screenings including EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks, updated every contract renewal
• Missouri Family Care Safety Registry verification required for LTC placements (time-sensitive)
• Government-issued photo ID required and must be carried during shifts
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug test within last 12 months (instant acceptable)

Health and Safety

• Initial physical exam and annual updates attesting ability to meet physical demands of the position
• Orientation includes completion of facility-specific modules and safety manual acknowledgement

Additional Notes

• Candidates must complete all required documentation and attestations prior to start
• Performance evaluations required if previously worked with the client for over 1 year
• Skills checklist must be updated annually for applicable units
