Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist (Travel/Contract)
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Setting: Operating Room
Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
Call: Expectation to take 1/4 of total call including some weekends and every other holiday
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Assist Interventional Radiologist during minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating.
- Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound.
- Common procedures include abdominal aortograms with runoff, fistulagrams, carotid angiograms, and EVARs.
- Work in 2 endovascular suites and open procedure ORs.
- Use Philips Epiq 7G, Parks Flo-Lab 2100SX, PenVasc reporting software, and Epic/CareConnect EMR.
- Department averages 20 patients per day.
- Surgical scrubs provided.
- Lab staffing ratio approximately 2 Radiologic Technologists to 1 Registered Nurse.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT or ARRT (Interventional Radiology) certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
