Job Opportunity: MRI Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Roanoke, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Shift options:
- 4x10-hour shifts (1 PM - 11 PM)
- 4x9-hour shifts (2 PM - 11 PM)
Days: Monday - Friday with a random weekday off
No on-call or holiday shifts required
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Floating may be required to nearby locations within the system

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ARRT certification
Experience working with Adult patients and Level 1 Trauma patients
Experience in Acute Care and Outpatient settings
Proficient in Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, and Spin Echo Images
Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Fit testing for masks within 1 year, updated annually (not required for students)
Required immunizations or positive titers for: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
2 clinical references required
Completion of skills checklist annually
Photo for badge required
