Job Details
- Shift: Rehab Nights
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
- Open to first-time travelers (no prior travel experience required)
- Option to work either 36 or 48 hours per week
- BLS certification required
Required Certifications (as applicable)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- CHEMO (Chemotherapy)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- NIH Stroke Certification (expires annually)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
Required Verifications and Documents
- I9 form (for direct candidates)
- Driver’s License or State ID
- E-Verify (for direct candidates)
- 7-year Background Check (updated annually) including:
- Social Security Trace
- County searches for last 7 years
- Nationwide Sex Offender check
- Education Verification (highest level)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Fingerprinting (must be completed onsite during orientation for New Mexico placements; required for every new contract)
- Transcript or Diploma (if education verification is pending)
- Photo for badge
- Employee Vehicle Registration Form (if applicable)
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam within 12 months of start
- Fit Mask Test within 1 year of start (must be renewed annually)
- Adult Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test (2-Step PPD, QGOLD, or TSPOT) within 1 year
- TB Questionnaire (if positive TB test) within 90 days of start, renewed annually
- Measles (Rubeola) immunity: Positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Mumps immunity: Positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Rubella immunity: Positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer, full series, or declination accepted
- Varicella immunity: Positive titer, 2 vaccines, or physician-documented history
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season Oct 1 - Mar 31)
- COVID-19 Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
Competency Requirements
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (minimum 80% score or meet/exceed Angoff score)
- Color Blind Testing (online acceptable)
- Competency Exam (minimum 80% or meet/exceed Angoff score)
- Annual Core Testing (for subcontractors) or signed HIPAA form

Notes
- Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
- Fingerprinting clearance is required before working on the unit; orientation and EPIC training can be attended pending clearance.
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccine exemptions require facility review and approval.
- All documentation must be current and verifiable; vaccine records cannot state "per history" or similar non-specific wording.
