Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Position Details

Certifications & Licenses Required

• Graduate from AMA-approved RT program
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Additional certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) - check unit specifics

Experience & Skills

• Radiology experience with CT technology
• Experience with relevant equipment, specifically GE systems
• Ability to float within scope to other units/facilities as needed

Documentation & Compliance Requirements

• Current and valid Driver’s License or State-issued ID
• Utility bill in candidate’s name with matching address dated within last 3 months (address must be >75 miles from facility)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal background, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, OFAC sanctions list, fingerprinting (if applicable)
• Education verification (transcript/diploma) from AMA-approved program
• Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen including marijuana (required within 30 days prior to start)
• Physical exam: Statement of good health within 1 year of start
• Immunizations and health documents:

  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (Tdap mandatory for certain units)
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (vaccination series, positive titer, or declination)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox)
  • Flu vaccine required annually (with agency-approved exemptions accepted)
  • COVID vaccination strongly preferred (declinations accepted with agency form)
• Fit mask testing completed onsite on first day
• Facility-specific documents and acknowledgments (e.g., Code of Ethical Business Conduct, Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy, Oklahoma Offender Registration Act, etc.)
• References: Two former direct supervisor references required (one within 1 year, one within 3 years)
• Employment history verification for last 10 years, including international positions
• Skills checklist and competency exams updated annually (including medication test, color blind testing, dysrhythmia/EKG competency, core competency exams)

Additional Notes

• Candidates must comply with all facility-specific orientation and training requirements, including EPIC training if no recent experience within 6 months
• Fit testing for N95 masks required onsite prior to or on first day
• Floating to sister facilities may be required
• No accommodation for block scheduling
• Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted for this travel contract

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 2 years of experience, comfortable with night shifts, on-call duties, and floating within the facility system. Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
